Biography
I am a Pro Geographical photographer for over 14 years. My love and my strong awareness to Nature that start to be developed early in my childhood, lead me soon to hold my first camera. After I first got the meaning of Earth ecological problems, I realized the significance of my photography work as an efficient tool to increase the awareness and sensibility of people around the world to the strong connection between humanity and our home planet Earth and to the global ecological problems that we so responsible for them as members of the modern world.
In 1987, as part of my work as an international diving instructor in the Red Sea, I figure out that when we consider the oceans as separate eco-system from land we are dangerously wrong. I realized that all nature system elements affect each other as one big organism, so no part can escape from the over-all planet eco-problem fate. I decided to specialize in Under Water Photography and started to document the unique and fascinating Under Water World and on the other hand, his eco wounds.
From that point I start to work as a professional photographer for Nature and Geographical magazines and developed a large and diverse digital photo images repository from Israel, the Red Sea and around the planet.
From 1995 till today most of My Geo photography activities devoted for illuminate this "Mankind-Nature" connection topic. I established and participated in several self and group photo-art exhibitions and Photo contests which impart me with a few rewords.
Today, I give lectures together with audio-visual performances about the connection between Mankind and Nature, and about my Photography voyages together with Geo Photography and U/W photography workshops.
